This pine specie, typically from the Saint-Laurent’s region, gives an essential oil similar to cypress oil. Mainly an expectorant, it soothes respiratory tract infections. Very antiseptic, it is used, by light spraying, for premises sanitation and in massage for circulatory troubles such as varicose veins and to alleviate the feeling of fatigue in the legs.
